Gene Shaw was born on Christmas Day in Brooklyn, New York. He's a photographer of entertainers, Rock and Roll stars and movie stars since the 70's. He knows what looks good in front of the camera with studio lights that show and tell all. Throughout his career working with make-up artists and hair stylists he has helped transform people by using the right products.

He wanted to put wigs on the market to help the "Special Person" inside all of us come out and shine like a star. His pictures of Julia Roberts, Madonna, The Psychedelic Furs, Liz Taylor and Oprah Winfrey have been seen in George, Vogue, Rolling Stone, People, Time, US Weekley, Rockbill, Movie Star Magazine along with many Entertainment Books. His photography can be seen in The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Museum in Cleveland, the Time Life Picture Collection, Star File, and The All Action Wig Photo Gallery.
